SUZUKI WATER DETECTING SYSTEM
The Suzuki Water Detecting System helps protect the engine from water in the fuel using a water detecting fuel filter to alert the operator with both visual and audio warnings when water is present in the fuel.
Suzuki’s anti-corrosion finish is special protection applied to the aluminum surface using high strength bonding. This is to protect the aluminum made exterior parts against corrosion which helps increase the overall engine durability
Dual water intake on the bigger engines, where usually there is only one, increases the water flow, providing better cooling performance. Positioning an inlet at the front of the gear case delivers also a greater water supply not only at high speeds but also during shallow drive.

Suzuki outboards have large gear reduction ratios, achieve in 2 stages which generates powerful propulsion. The 2-stage gear reduction provides torque needed to turn a large diameter propeller without adding bulk and unwanted weight to the outboard. This results in quicker acceleration and greater top-end speed.
The offset drive shaft moves the powerhead forward over the transom for better balance, as well as allowing for a much more compact profile than the competition.
Using Suzuki’s Variable Valve Timing to vary the timing of the intake valves by optimizing camshaft timing, Suzuki engineers have achieved greater low and mid-range torque from the engine, optimizing power output across the entire operating range.
