Suzuki Marine South Africa has been lauded by Suzuki Motor Corporation for achieving top market share in 2021, reaching 51.4% market share in 4-stroke outboard sales in South Africa.
Suzuki Motor Corporation appreciates the sales achievements of the dealer network who continuously work hard to offer the best possible service to Suzuki customers.
In September 2022, Suzuki Marine achieved another milestone by selling a record of 176 outboards, equaling a whopping 75.5% market share in 4-stroke outboard sales in SA. This new record positively shatters the previous record of 164 units set in June 2020.
Tanja Maes, Manager for the Marine Division, says: “Suzuki Marine is by far the market leader in 4-stroke outboards, and we are very proud of our dealer’s sales achievement. The new record represents a very good spread of sales of all our products, from the smallest to the largest and most powerful engines, and a very good geographic spread between all our dealers.
“The new record also pushes Suzuki’s year-to-date market share until September to 62.2%, which firmly entrenches Suzuki as South Africa’s leading 4-stroke outboard brand.” says Maes.
