Team Angling & Outdoor World sponsored by Suzuki Marine won the 8th and final round of the 2014 Lowveld Bass Trail [LBT], and in doing so finished the season on top of the table out of a field of 59 boats that competed during the season.
The team is riding a wave of confidence going into the LBT final on Maguga Dam, thanks to comfortably winning the last event by 1.545kg (3lbs 6oz) with a five-fish-limit of 8.98kg (19lbs 12oz.) Cronje also boated the heaviest fish of the day, a chunky hen of 2.415kg (5lbs 5oz.)
Carey and Cronje appear to be on a hot streak. After an 8th place finish at Kwena in May, they finished 4th at Vygeboom, 4th at Injaka, 3rd at Vygeboom, and 1st at Kwena.
