Nauti Tech Suzuki
The community with customers and friends gathered in the morning to clean the ocean, as it is all about Friends, fun and super-clean oceans!
Everyone, young and old pitched in and helped clean up the beach – collecting 40 plastic bags of plastic we're glad our beautiful ocean is now free of!
There were some #Suzuki goodies bags and CrownNationalSA spice hampers for those who cleared the most plastic.
Super Auto Marine
An amazing day was had for the Beach Clean-up with the incredible people from Paternoster Peoples' Partnership & Hoopsi.
Natal Powerboats
Natal Powerboats hosted their Clean Up campaign at Umhlanga Rocks, cleaning up the ocean with up to 3 different segments and times. The Campaign took place from the morning up till the afternoon to allow as much people as possible to attend. This dealership was able to fill more than 80 bags full of trash.
Atlantic Suzuki
The dealer gathered at Hout Bay Beach in the Western Cape in the morning with people from the community to participate in the World Ocean Clean Up Campaign where there were able to fill up to 28 trash bags.
Turn out of people that participated was up to 50 people and were at the venue for more than 4 hours.
Bayview Boating
On June the 10th Bayview Boating hosted and took part in an ocean and shore clean up in St Francis Bay.
Bayview Boating had a Gazebo set up at the beach braai area at Bruce's and provided bags and waters for the volunteers who cleared the rocks and trails of all litter, gut and any other items that do not belong.
This dealer has also placed garbage cans around the perimeter of his dealership with Suzuki Clean Ocean Logo on it to create awareness with the people passing the road.
Suzuki Marine Zambia
Suzuki Marine Zambia also gathered in the morning with a few people from the community and cleaned the Crocodile Island and managed to fill up to 50 bags.
Tait Marine
The Suzuki Marine Dealer in Knysna took the initiative to clean up abandoned train tracks for World Ocean Day.
Knysna is a coastal town with a beautiful lagoon but even rubbish from inland makes its way to the ocean. The team of Tait Marine got involved with Revive Knysna NGO and got a lot of weeds and rubbish removed from the abandoned train tracks.
Suzuki Marine South Africa would like to thank all dealers that participated in this event and also encourage everyone that were unable to participate or be part of the campaign to join in the next campaign that will take place in September.
This was the first World Campaign for the year 2023 and we have a very strong feeling that the next campaigns will be a huge success as the environment is very important to Suzuki Marine South Africa. This good initiative makes us proud and we will do our best to extend Clean Ocean awareness to our customers and community.
