The Suzuki Clean Up Campaign that took place this weekend at Pecanwood Estate was a good success with up to 130 garbage bags full of hyacinth that was collected by the community and Suzuki Team cleaning Haartebeesport Dam.
The Suzuki Team and Pecanwood Residents met at 10H00 am and started cleaning the dam. People of all age groups worked together to achieve one goal which was to give back to the environment.
Everyone who participated was automatically entered into a raffle competition and stood a chance to win a DF2.5 worth R11 000.00.
After the clean-up the raffle ticket draw took place. Suzuki Auto South Africa MD Mr. Yukio Sato with Miss. Tanja Maes (Marine Manager) announced a winner.
Suzuki Marine also sponsored Pecanwood Estate with R10 000.00 to use towards the conservation of the Hartbeespoort Dam.
Suzuki Cars, Suzuki Motorcycles & Suzuki Marine was present at this event as the public had a chance to test drive cars and also get boat rides.
