Each year, hundreds of enthusiastic anglers participate in the Three Species Bonanza held at Loskop Dam and Suzuki Marine were once again a major sponsor of the popular annual event.

 

More than 1200 anglers and 485 boats from all over South Africa met at Loskop Dam over last weekend – home to the annual 3 Species Bonanza.

 

The biggest inland Light Tackle Boat fishing competition did not disappoint – as told by the high count of Carp, Bass and Barber pulled out of the water.

 

The prize-giving ceremony started off with a word of thanks from event organiser Bella Honeyborne, who also presented all sponsors with gifts.

 

Sponsors were also given a chance to say a few words. Major Sponsors Suzuki Marine and Boat, Caravan & Camping Nigel were all present.

 

Chris Jansen from Boat, Caravan & Camping stated that it was always an honour to be associated with the sport and it was a privilege to be sponsors. He commented the widespread popularity of this annual competition and pledged continuous support for this event in the coming years.

 

Yukio Sato MDof Suzuki SA said that he was pleased to be part of this wonderful activity and thanked the organisers for doing a splendid job in putting the event together, and allowing Suzuki SA to be one of the sponsors of this event and congratulated all the winners including the first prize winner of the boat powered by Suzuki, Cassie Eramus who caught a 5.12kg carp.
